The second bestselling game of all-time (behind
Tetris);
Minecraft is now available to Xbox Game Pass holders.
Inside Xbox announced, during March, that the immensely popular sandbox game would be coming to the subscription service in April and now it has arrived.
"Are you already an Xbox Game Pass member, but new to Minecraft? In that case, welcome to our global community and fun crafting game! There’s always something new to discover, whether it’s our recent Update Aquatic that filled Minecraft’s seas with new life, or the upcoming Village and Pillage update that’s going to be Minecraft’s biggest expansion yet!"
For those unfamiliar with the Xbox Game Pass; the subscription service allows Xbox users access to hundreds of Xbox One and Xbox 360 games for one low monthly price. Here are some other notable inclusions:
Shadow of the Tomb Raider,
PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS,
Forza Horizon 4,
Sea of Thieves,
Rocket League,
Shadow of Mordor,
Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and many more.
Minecraft isn't the only game to be made available via the Xbox Game Pass in April. The month began with
Marvel vs Capcom Infinite also being made available to download. Other recent additions include the fourth instalments in both the
Fallout and
Just Cause franchises, which were added to the pass just last month.
