Experience 22 Intense Minutes of SadSquare Studio's VISAGE
Gameplay video of the forthcoming survival horror game has just been released. It showcases a super creepy experience that's bound to delight fans of the genre.
A few years ago, Hideo Kojima and Guillermo Del Toro co-created a demo called P.T. that impressed both critics and gamers. It was to serve as a teaser for the highly awaited Silent Hills game. Unfortunately, we're unlikely to see the project as envisioned and Konami has since removed the demo for download.
Seen as a spiritual successor to P.T, Visage shares some similarities with it. Once again, a first person point of view is used. Players are required to explore the gaming environment – in this case a house – in order to find keys and other items that will open up more areas of the world.
The sound design is quite good -- the sound of the ticking clock, the rain and the player’s footsteps kept me on edge throughout. I can imagine that playing this on headphones will further enhance the experience.
Check out the footage and share your thoughts below.
Visage will be released on Playstation, Xbox One and PC later this year.
