Though its existence and much information about it had leaked prior, Warner Bros. Games has officially unveiled MultiVersus!

It's a crossover fighting game akin to Super Smash Bros., PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. That is as much to say it's a side-on fighting game that includes a plethora of different characters from various different Warner Bros. properties.

The game will feature a 2v2 combat system and is set to launch in 2022 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. You can check out the gameplay in action in the official First Look Reveal trailer below (via Warner Bros. Games).

The roster of characters includes: Arya Stark from Game of Thrones, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and Harley Quinn of DC Comics, Shaggy from Scooby-Doo, Bugs Bunny from Looney Tunes, Finn the Human and Jake the Dog from Adventure Time, Tom and Jerry from Tom and Jerry, Steven Universe and Garnet from Steven Universe, an original character called Reindog, and many more to come.

WB Games president David Haddad stated the following in regards to the upcoming crossover game:

With MultiVersus we are creating a distinct competitive game that allows us to combine a deep roster of celebrated WarnerMedia franchises for gamers to enjoy. We are partnering with the talented team at Player First Games to bring together a free-to-play, online platform fighter with a wealth of iconic characters that fans know and love, from Wonder Woman and Bugs Bunny to Shaggy and Arya from Game of Thrones. And this is just the beginning, as we are excited to support upcoming seasons and ongoing game content.

Who else could feature? Well, look no futher than your favourite Warner Bros. properties. Our bet is on Harry Potter. What characters would you like to see included in Multiversus? Which of the confirmed roster will you be maining?
