Even more changes are arriving and have been announced with end of season 2 for the Battle Royale game mode of Fortnite. The team at Epic Games has revealed a new 'Hand Cannon" gun for players to wreck havoc with in the upcoming third season of the game. After the explosive premiere of the impulse grenade, a new gun might be arriving with a big boom.

Here is the screenshot of the official in game announcement of the 'Hand Cannon' as well. The so-called 'Hand Cannon' looks like it'll be the size of a pistol, though do not let looks deceive you, as it is apparently a "handheld heavy hitter" that will "pack a punch."
Explosives such rocket launchers are essential to the late game. As the forts start to stack up, it's important to blow their house down so you can get to their loot. It looks like the Hand Cannon is going to be another weapon that turtling players will need to watch out for.
