Marvel Rivals is receiving a new content drop today that adds stylish Hellfire Gala-themed skins for Cyclops, Phoenix, and Daredevil. The update also includes a pair of targeted bug fixes and will roll out without any server downtime.
The new cosmetics are sold in individual bundles. Cyclops receives the Legendary "Elegant Eye" costume, while Phoenix (Jean Grey) gets the Epic "Viridian Vogue" outfit. Both designs draw directly from the characters’ Hellfire Gala appearances in the comics. A matching emote for Scott Summers and Jean Grey is included, giving the pair a coordinated presentation. Daredevil’s "Attorney at Law" bundle is also Epic rarity and continues the formal, high-society aesthetic associated with the Hellfire Gala theme.
These skins arrive as store bundles and are expected to become available shortly after the patch goes live. Exact pricing has not been highlighted in the initial patch notes, but previous Legendary and Epic bundles in Marvel Rivals have followed the game’s standard currency structure.
Alongside the new cosmetics, NetEase is addressing two specific gameplay issues. A bug affecting Lady Loki’s lower-body animations during the Hela Team-Up ability (Villain’s Illusion) has been corrected. The previous behavior caused noticeable contortion in her model; the fix restores proper posture. Hela herself receives a movement correction. Players could previously become stuck in place when casting Astral Flock after rising through Thoth’s Wrath zones on Wakanda maps. That paralysis issue has been resolved so she can continue moving freely.
Todays update is a relatively light mid-season patch focused on cosmetics and quality-of-life fixes rather than major balance changes or new heroes. It follows recent summer-themed skin releases and continues Marvel Rivals’ steady cadence of store drops and small technical improvements.
Cyclops and Phoenix already share a strong presence in the game as X-Men representatives, and the coordinated Hellfire Gala looks give players a clear visual pairing. Daredevil’s formal variant adds another option for a character whose default design is more street-level. Together the three bundles expand the roster of premium outfits without requiring a larger seasonal reset.
Because the patch carries no downtime, players will be able to log in as usual and find the new items in the store once they go live. The combination of high-profile character skins and a couple of meaningful animation and movement fixes makes for a clean, low-disruption update that keeps the game’s cosmetic catalog growing while smoothing out a pair of known issues.
