THQ recently released a "Breaking The Seal" trailer for the game, which gives us a little insight into the game.

Set 40 years after the events of the previous title, the Red Planet is under serious threat from a mysterious force. The Terraformer that supplies Mars with a breathable atmosphere has been destroyed, leaving the planet ravaged by tornadoes and lethal lightning storms, a situation that forces the inhabitants to flee beneath the surface and turn to living in a series of caves.

Players step into the shoes of Darius Mason, who is tricked into opening an underground shaft that releases an evil force from an old temple. This new threat begins to tear colonist settlements apart, leaving it up to Darius to join the Red Faction and face a new evil as well as mobs who are angry at his error.

Red Faction: Armageddon is set to be released May 31 for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. It has been rated "Mature" by the ESRB.
