Rebellion has released Zombie Army, a short film from Rebellion VFX, their internal studio dedicated to VFX. using the company's existing gaming IP and assets, they created a bespoke animated film by leveraging video game engine technology and Virtual Production techniques to exploit real-time rendering and achieve incredibly fast content creation.
Set in the same dystopian world as the Zombie Army video game franchise, the new ground-breaking short film taks you deep into the heart of the action as Shola and Boris from the Alpha Squad set out on a mission that runs parallel to the events and storyline of the game.
The new Zombie Army short is included below. Rebellion VFX has also released a "Making of" video giving viewers an idea of what went into creating the short animated film.

It appears that Rebellion has several other projects using their new technology, including projects in video games, film and TV. Not only are they working on projects in several different media types, they're also working with third party properties in the entertainment industry.
