Have you ever dreamed to punching mechs right in their robotic faces? Well, it looks like this dream may become a reality as publisher Maximum Games just announced Override: Mech City Brawl, The Balance Inc's debut project that will let you to take control of gigantic, throwback-themed robots and duke it out in fantastic cityscapes this winter. Hopefully, the studio will execute this fantastic idea well.
Unlike Bandai Namco’s Godzilla (which completely failed to live up to a similar, promising premise in 2014), Override already looks absolutely bonkers in the announcement trailer that you can watch down below. Punching giant robots is not everything the brawler has to offer, allowing you to customize your mechs in the garage and change their accessories and skins to create your own unique style.
Override: Mech City Brawl will also support local and online Versus & Co-Op modes and you will experience Override’s story in a fully-developed single-player campaign. At launch, Override will feature 12 outrageous mechs of epic, skyscraper-sized proportions, each with diverse fighting styles and unique skills, battling in some exotic locations, including Tokyo, Egypt, San Francisco, and Mexico.
