For anyone not aware, Activision and Beenox's remake of
Crash Team Racing was just released today for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One; bringing back all of the classic gameplay seen in the original version from the late 90s.
While most fans of thew original game knew that
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled was releasing today, not many knew what the differences were in terms of graphics — especially with the Nintendo Switch version, which everyone knew was going to be the less visually impressive of the bunch due to the hardware's limitations.
For those players who were still on the fence about purchasing
Crash Team Racin Nitro-Fueled, this brand-new video compares the PLayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch versions of the game; giving us a better idea of how the graphics and overall performance varies depending on the platform.
As seen in the video, there are some visible differences between both version, namely the fact that the game looks crisper on the PlayStation 4 because of the resolution, as well as running at 60 frames per second, while the Nintendo Switch only runs at 30.
That said, portability is also something that players may consider when purchasing the game, since the Nintendo Switch version is still a worthy opponent in that area.
