Developed and published by Caged Element,
GRIP: Combat Racing is a game that was inspired by the classic combat racing game
Rollcage, which released in 1999 for the PlayStation and PC. In March of this year,
GRIP: Combat Racing was announced and would come out for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC on the
6th of November.
Being a
Rollcage spiritual successor through and through,
GRIP: Combat Racing features high octane, action-packed combat races in flashy and futuristic environments. The developer has also made sure to bring all of the elements from the cult classic combat game, and players will be able to drive on walls and ceilings seamlessly.
GRIP: Combat Racing will also be featuring a soundtrack based on electronic music, which has been composed by artists from South London based Hospital Records, that will have players banging their heads to these energetic tunes. Now that the game has just released, we get a brand new, and action-packed trailer showing off some of the gameplay players will find in
GRIP: Combat Racing, as well as a taste of the game's brilliant soundtrack.
Take a look:
Evolved from the age of street racing, the world of GRIP is brutal and cut-throat to the core. To win the race is never enough, greatness comes from the journey and the trail of merciless destruction you unleash upon your rivals along the way.
Grip: Combat Racing is available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Steam today.
