Team Sonic Racing has just become available today for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Steam; bringing with it some high-speed races like only Sega and their
Sonic the Hedgehog series can.
Over the past couple of weeks, Sega has been releasing quite a bunch of trailers that have given us most of the details about the new team gameplay mechanic, vehicle customization, character types, and even released some of the themes in the game's already phenomenal soundtrack; although nothing like the video they have just released.
A hilarious live-action trailer for
Team Sonic Racing is exactly what, at this point, we should expect from Sega — who are the kings of meme-ing themselves on social media and completely embrace the silliness of any given situation; and this new trailer is a testament to that, where even Sega's very own Takashi Iizuka — head of Sonic Team — makes an appearance.
This, amongst many other reasons, is why Sega has been able to keep their loyal fanbase all of these years; even when they take the occasional mistake, fans can always count that Sega will, at the very least, make fun of the situation. So, without further ado, give this live-action trailer for
Team Sonic Racing a watch, and simply have a laugh at the ridiculousness of it.
