You can sign up for
The Crew 2's upcoming
BETA TESTS right now and the full game will hit the stores on June 29, 2018 after the delay of three months. Hopefully, Ubisoft Ivory Tower will use that time to polish the sequel and avoid
The Crew's launch problems, including unstable servers and dated graphics, which was respectively fixed by the developer in the major
Wild Run expansion.
Ubisoft has launched a brand new series of developer diaries with Behind the Wheel #1. The first episode, "Studio Update", focuses on the team that is currently working hard on
The Crew 2.
"
I'm so happy to have this opportunity to speak to you," Creative Director
Stephane Beley says in the diary, "
I can't wait to do this more often. In our December announcement about The Crew 2's release date, we mentioned that we were very excited to use the extra time to work with our amazing community. We have now been doing this for a couple of months in private phases we call "Technical Tests". We have run for of them to date. During these technical tests, we give access to the work-in-progress version of the game to small groups of active The Crew's players. [...] Of course, we will be running a public beta before the launch, we want as many of you as possible to get your hands on the game." It sounds like Beley is really passionate about his game, so don't waste your time and be sure to sign up for the beta now and don't forget to check out the developer diary down below!
