The Crew 2 and Far Cry 5 won't make it on time. The Crew 2 has been moved from its original date of March 16, 2018 to the first half of 2018-19 fiscal year, meaning that it should launch between April and September 2018. When it comes to Far Cry 5, the delay is rather small, as the game won't be ready on February 27, but March 27, 2018.
An announced project has been also moved to Ubisoft's fiscal year 2019-20. The changes are caused by "investing more time in development. This decision is in line with our strategic vision of developing even more engaging and higher quality experiences for gamers," said Christine Burgess-Quémard, Ubisoft's worldwide studios executive director.
The publisher is also pleased with the shape of Assassin's Creed Origins, as giving the developer more time clearly paid off and gave Ubisoft a much needed win. They are taking a similar approach to "invest additional development in three upcoming games". One could wonder what the delayed mysterious Ubisoft's game is, but my bet is on the next Splinter Cell. Sam Fisher just likes to stay in the shadow. And wait, of course.
