We may have some potentially great news for fans of Square Enix's
Mana series, as new information has seemingly revealed that
Trials of Mana, the upcoming title in the long-running role-playing series, will be getting a playable demo on the PlayStation 4.
The information actually comes from PlayStation Store tracker
Gamestat, which unofficially leaked that a demo for
Trails of Mana would be releasing for the PlayStation 4 at some point before the game officially launches on the
24th of April.
Trials of Mana getting a demo is not really that unexpected, especially since this is the first time the game will be officially released here in the West. What we don't know, in case this demo is actually real, is if it will also be releasing on the Nintendo Switch and on Steam.
It is also worth mentioning that
Trials of Mana is still on Gamestat's list of Latest Additions to PSN, but the images have been removed; possibily confirming that a demo is, indeed, releasing at some point within the next couple of months.
In a world on the brink of war, the power of mana suddenly starts to weaken… Step into the shoes of 6 unique heroes and rescue the world from the encroaching darkness in Trials of Mana, a full HD remake of the third entry in the seminal Mana series (Seiken Densetsu 3 in Japan), never before released in the West.
Trials of Mana will release for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam on the 24th of April.
