Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris has been on the radar of fans of the Sword Art Online series for quite a while now. The game was announced in March of last year, and will finally be hitting store shelves this Friday; becoming available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Bandai Namco and developer Aquria have made sure to create an original story for Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris ; one that will make fans of the series feel right at home when they play it, but also one that is welcoming to newcomers who may not be familiar with the long-running series.
From a gameplay standpoint, one should expect to find an action adventure game with role-playing elements, which will see players engaging in combats where strategy is not only encouraged, but quite necessary to defeat enemies effectively.
Don't be fooled into thinking that Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris features a turn-based combat system, though, since there is plenty of action that will still manage to keep you on the edge of your seat.
Considering that the Sword Art Online series can be considered somewhat of a niche franchise, Bandai Namco has been revealing new information about the game, and today they have shared a story trailer that reveals some interesting new details about the plot in Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris; just in time before the game releases this Friday.
