THQ Nordic-published and
Experiment 101-developed Action adventure RPG,
Biomutant, made its appearance at
Gamescom 2018 in Cologne, Germany as a surprise to many, and certainly did not disappoint bringing with them a brand new gameplay trailer (which can be seen below) as well as over twenty minutes of gameplay demo for attendees to get their hands on.
There are only bits and pieces of information on
Biomutant released, other than the extensive customization options featured in a few
trailers, as well as the fact that it's a truly open world environment for players to explore, with a very responsive and fast-paced style of play. The game looks to really capture a bit of old-school RPGs where character customizations can change at least initial vital stats such as damage, health points, or movement speed.
Here's the gameplay trailer featured at Gamescom 2018:
They released the news about the upcoming release date for the game to be delayed to
Summer of 2019, back from its original date sometime in Q4 of 2018.
Biomutant will be released for Windows PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One.
