Bandai Namco revealed last year that they were working on
Code Vein, a title that borrows some gameplay ideas from other Bandai Namco Souls-like games like
Dark Souls and
Bloodborne.
Code Vein was originally scheduled to release for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in September of last year, but it was sadly pushed back and Bandai Namco has yet to reveal a new release date; although they have confirmed that it will be releasing at some point in 2019.
The lack of news about the game had some fans worrying about the state of
Code Vein, but Bandai Namco has just released a new behind the scenes video that reassures fans that everything is going as planned.
This new behind the scenes video features interviews of the game's development team, who give us some interesting details about
Code Vein's development, and other elements that promise to make the game a unique experience.
Check it out:
In the not too distant future, a mysterious disaster has brought collapse to the world as we know it. Towering skyscrapers, once symbols of prosperity, are now lifeless graves of humanity’s past pierced by the Thorns of Judgment. At the center of the destruction lies a hidden society of Revenants called Vein. This final stronghold is where the remaining few fight to survive, blessed with Gifts of power in exchange for their memories and a thirst for blood.
Code Vein will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2019.
