Bandai Namco's long-awaited
Code Vein — a title that draws inspiration from Souls-like titles like
Dark Souls and
Bloodborne — is finally becoming available tomorrow for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC(Steam); after having been delayed a few times in the past.
Earlier this month Bandai Namco announced that the game would be getting a demo, so PlayStation 4 and Xbox one players have already been able to get a taste of what's in store for when they finally get to play the full version of
Code Vein when it releases tomorrow.
PC players, sadly, didn't get the chance to play the demo — as it was only made available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox one. For those players, and the ones who did play the demo and are still struggling to get a solid grasp on the game's mechanics, Bandai Namco has released a tutorial ahead of the game's launch.
In this tutorial, specifically, players are taught everything there is to know about character classes in
Code Vein — or Blood Codes, as officially referred as in the game — and how these can make a huge difference in battle.
Check it out:
In the not too distant future, a mysterious disaster has brought collapse to the world as we know it. Towering skyscrapers, once symbols of prosperity, are now lifeless graves of humanity’s past pierced by the Thorns of Judgment. At the center of the destruction lies a hidden society of Revenants called Vein. This final stronghold is where the remaining few fight to survive, blessed with Gifts of power in exchange for their memories and a thirst for blood.
Code Vein will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on the 27th of September.
