After all the waiting that players had to do since Bandai Namco announced Code Vein until it was finally released this past September, Bandai Namco has some good news — as new content will be added to the game.

Bandai Namco has just announced that Code Vein will be getting three DLCs jam-packed with content, with the first DLC expected to release at a yet-to-be-determined date early in 2020; featuring new bosses, weapons, blood codes, and more.

In addition to the DLC, Bandai Namco also revealed that Code Vein will be getting a separate free update. While the developer doesn't say what this will include, it is likely a patch that fixes common issues, although they may surprise us with something extra.

In the not too distant future, a mysterious disaster has brought collapse to the world as we know it. Towering skyscrapers, once symbols of prosperity, are now lifeless graves of humanity’s past pierced by the Thorns of Judgment. At the center of the destruction lies a hidden society of Revenants called Vein. This final stronghold is where the remaining few fight to survive, blessed with Gifts of power in exchange for their memories and a thirst for blood.

Code Vein is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
