In November of last year, Bandai Namco announced that they were still not done with
Code Vein, revealing that they would be releasing downloadable content that would release at some point in early 2020. As promised, the developer has delivered by shadow dropping the game's first DLC today.
"Hellfire Knight" is the first of three DLC packs that Bandai Namco is adding to
Code Vein as part of the game's Season Pass, and it is including a new boss, new story, a new stage, new NPC costumes, and new customisation parts for players to equip their character.
The remaining DLC still doesn't have an official release date, but both are scheduled to release early in 2020, so it is possible that we may be getting this downloadable content as monthly releases. In the meantime, be sure to check out the trailer for
Code Vein's "Hellfire Knight" DLC down below.
Check it out:
In the not too distant future, a mysterious disaster has brought collapse to the world as we know it. Towering skyscrapers, once symbols of prosperity, are now lifeless graves of humanity’s past pierced by the Thorns of Judgment. At the center of the destruction lies a hidden society of Revenants called Vein. This final stronghold is where the remaining few fight to survive, blessed with Gifts of power in exchange for their memories and a thirst for blood.
Code Vein is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
