Cyberpunk 2077 is the latest RPG from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt developer CD Projekt Red, and while it's not due to come out until next year, the game continues to garner a lot of excitement from fans everywhere.
While most of these fans are currently just anxious to tackle the main story, one of the developers recently confirmed that they are already talking about future expansions for the upcoming title.
"We are talking about expansions in the future," UI Coordinator Alvin Liu told Prima Games. "We want to make sure everything's complete, but we also want to build open worlds. I know when I was playing The Witcher 3 and I finished everything, I still want to know what everyone was up to. I think we're going to have opportunities like that as well for Cyberpunk 2077."
Although discussions about story expansions tend to make some gamers nervous that the main narrative won't be given as much attention, Liu went on to tell the site that they are working hard to ensure that Cyberpunk 2077 has "a very rewarding ending" without DLC.
Cyberpunk 2077 will officially launch on April 16, 2020 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
