Dark Souls is a third-person action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco that was released in 2011 to very positive reviews by critics.
The main mechanic of the game is exploration where players soon realise that not every turn is a safe one, and are encouraged to explore with caution. It is a very difficult and unforgiving game that may leave players a bit frustrated but also looking for other ways to approach certain areas, and tackle powerful enemies. It is a game that definitely has a learning curve but once players get the hang of it, it becomes a very enjoyable experience.
Dark Souls Remastered, which as the name implies is a remastered version of the original game, was announced in January of this year for the PlayStaton 4, Xbox One and PC, and would later be announced for the Nintendo Switch. The game has not been given an official date but it is expected to come out on all platforms during this Summer.
Today we got an official
Dark Souls Remastered trailer from Bandai Namco, where they also let players know that pre-orders are now available for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Due to the way Nintendo like things done, it is safe to assume that an official trailer will be released on their site later this week, or even today, but until now there are no news about the pre-orders.
