For those of you who have never played a Dark Souls game, publisher Bandai Namco has a treat for you - a collection of all three previously released games. Announced today, the Dark Souls Trilogy bundles all three games in one three-disc collection along with all of the previously-released DLC.
As a reminder, this includes the recently released Dark Souls Remastered game with Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin and Dark Souls III: The Fire Fades Edition. Bandai Namco says the three-disc physical version will be released in "limited numbers across the Americas." A trailer highlighting all of the pain and punishment fans can expect to re-experience was shared alongside the announcement.
The Dark Souls Trilogy will be available October 19, 2018, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It follows the May release of Dark Souls: Remastered for the same consoles. Meanwhile, while the Trilogy won't arrive on Nintendo Switch, the console is getting Dark Souls: Remastered on October 19 as well.
On a related note, it was announced that FromSoftware's other new game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will release globally March 22, 2019. So much death awaits.
