Celebrating the 15th anniversary since the release of Nippon Ichi Software's tactical role-playing game,
Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, NIS has released a remastered edition of the game in the form of
Disgaea 1 Complete.
Disgaea: Hour of Darkness was released for the PlayStation 2, PSP, Nintendo DS and Windows back in 2003, and the
Disgaea 1 Complete remaster improves on the graphics while still keeping all of the core elements found in the original game intact.
Disgaea 1 Complete was announced back in April of this year, and NIS America also revealed that both the
PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch versions offered the Rosen Queen's Finest Edition; which includes some collectibles like official soundtrack for the game, hardcover art book, Rosen Queen certificate of authenticity, plus the physical copy for the game—among many other items.
Now that
Disgaea 1 Complete has officially released today, NIS America has released a new trailer for the game letting other strategy RPGs know that they are abut to get a serious kick in the ass.
