In April of last year, Bandai Namco announced that they were working on Doraemon Story of Seasons — which, as the name very appropriately suggests, is a crossover between the popular Story of Seasons series of simulation/role-playing games and the Doraemon franchise.
Doraemon Story of Seasons was initially released for the Nintendo Switch and PC(Steam) in June of the same year, bringing with it a charming simulation game that would see players helping Noby and Doraemon get back home by exploring the game's world and, of course, farming, fishing, and cooking.
Today, Bandai Namco has some great news for PlayStation 4 owners, who also happen to be fans of the genre, as Doraemon Story of Seasons has just been annoucned for Sony's console, and is expected to release on the 4th of September.
With the announcement, the developers also shared a charming gameplay trailer that shows off the game's anime-like art style, and gives us a look at some of the activities that players will be able to participate in once Doraemon Story of Seasons finally becomes available.
Take a look:
The setting is Natura, and at the center of this land is the mystical Big Tree. Doraemon and friends will each take on a role to help out around town! The theme of this experience is creating bonds with the town residents, and while doing so, enjoying the heart-warming interactions through each character and the part they play in the story. But building a farm and raising horses and cattle like in other Story of Seasons games isn't the only thing to do. Explore the town of Natura, go on adventures, catch bugs and much much more! Fans of the Doraemon series will also be happy to know that Doraemon's gadgets can be used to assist you in your new, everyday life!
Doraemon Story of Seasons will release for the PlayStation 4 on the 4th of September.
