In September of 2018, Square Enix revealed that quite the handful of Final Fantasy titles were being re-released on modern consoles, including such classics like Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy X, and even Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles — among others.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles was one of the games that caught most players' attention, since it is a game that had only been released as a Nintendo GameCube exclusive title, and had never been re-released on other platforms; making it one of the most difficult to find games in the series.
Square Enix also revealed that this was a remastered version of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, and that it would be supporting online multiplayer — which is great news, considering that the original game was meant to be played with other people.
The developer had initially intended for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition to release at some point in 2019, but it was later pushed back indefinitely.
Today we have some great news, as Square Enix has shared a new trailer for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition, which reveals that the long-awaited game will finally become available for the PlayStation 4, nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android devices on the 27th of August.
This new trailer also reveals that Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition will support crossplatform gameplay, as well as save data transfer between all of the aforementioned platforms; giving players the chance to play on the platform of their liking.
