Hideo Baba, producer of Bandai Namco Entertainment's Tales (series) of JRPGS is heading up a new studio at Square Enix which is named Studio Istolia.  Istolia is derived from the Greek word for story.

With Baba at the head, Istolia is looking to hire several programmers, designers and planners.

You can check out the new studio's website HERE, and like their Facebook page HERE, as follow their Twitter HERE.

What do you hope to see from the new project? Baba has already confirmed that the game will feature traditional fantasy elements like orcs, dragons and elves so it's already a big departure from the Final Fantasy games.  Perhaps Istolia can recapture some of the luster lost when SquareSoft turned into Square Enix?
