We are only a week and a half away from
Kingdom Hearts III's release date, and fans of the beloved role-playing series will be able to play this long-awaited game when it finally releases on the
29th of January for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
This new entry in the
Kingdom Hearts series will bring in even more Disney characters that will be joining Sora, Donald, and Goofy in their adventure: from Disney Pixar's beloved
Toy Story series to
Big Hero 6, and even
Pirates of the Caribbean.
Today, the official Twitter account for
Kingdom Hearts III has shared new artwork that sees our main hero Sora joined by Jack Sparrow — I mean, Captain Jack Sparrow — and Will Turner from the popular Pirates of the Caribbean series by Disney.
Interestingly enough,
Pirates of the Caribbean is the first Disney series to join
Kingdom Hearts that isn't animated, which is a nice change of pace and will definitely make for interesting visuals and scenarios in
Kingdom Hearts III.
Take a look:
KINGDOM HEARTS III tells the story of the power of friendship as Sora and his friends embark on a perilous adventure. Set in a vast array of Disney and Pixar worlds, KINGDOM HEARTS follows the journey of Sora, a young boy and unknowing heir to a spectacular power.
Kingdom Hearts III will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on the 29th of January.
