Early Target Listing May Have Revealed KINGDOM HEARTS 3's Release Date

When upcoming video games are initially listed on a retailer's website, they typically receive a December 31st placeholder until an official announcement is made. Not so, for Kingdom Hearts 3.

As seen in the screengrab above, Target has an early listing of Kingdom Hearts 3 and currently has the game releasing on November 1.  Presently, the game has a confirmed 2018 release but doesn't have an official date announcement from Square Enix.

While some gamers may point to retailer website frequently creating an early webpage for a video game, the traditional placeholder for an unannounced release date is December 31.  The fact that KH3 has a November 1 release date, and games in Japan currently go on sale on Thursdays, is giving Target's potential error greater-than-normal traction.

Of course, Red Dead Redemption 2 is currently slated to drop a few days earlier on October 26 so it will certainly be interesting to see whether the leak holds true.
