Kingdom Hearts 3 is the latest, and long-awaited, entry in the Kingdom Hearts series. The game was initially announced in 2013 and fans have been clamouring for more footage, and also for the game to be released soon. Well, fans may finally have their chance to play the game at this year's E3.

According to the official SquareEnixUSA Twitter account, Kingdom Hearts 3 is getting its own booth and will be fully playable for fans to enjoy. While the game still has no official release date, it is likely be announced during the Square Enix's special presentation for this year's E3—which, unlike other years, will be streamed in the same fashion of the Nintendo Directs.

Now that Kingdom Hearts 3 is officially going to be playable at this year's E3, fans will finally be able to see if this five-year-wait was worth it or not—and keep their fingers crossed in hopes that the game is released before the end of the year. Square Enix is usually able to deliver and Kingdom Hearts 3 is arguably one of their most popular IPs so it is safe to assume that this will be no different.
