SQUARE ENIX Will Be Streaming A Special Video Presentation For This Year's E3 Instead Of The Usual Conference

Square Enix has announced, via a post on their Twitter account, that they will be streaming a video presentation for this year's E3, much like the Directs from Nintendo, instead of the usual conference.

Square Enix's E3 conference will no longer be taking place on stage at this year's E3 in Los Angeles. Instead, they are taking the Nintendo route and doing a video presentation while focusing strictly on the upcoming games and projects that they will be announcing.

This is, by far, one of the best choices the company could've made given that E3 on stage presentations are usually quite embarrassing and hard to sit through, even more so if you happen to be part of the audience, not to mention time-consuming. A video presentation always goes straight to the point and doesn't need to show off laser light shows or have questionable music shows that gamers usually don't care about. Plus, since video presentations are pre-recorded, there are no technical difficulties at all, which is always nice.

Today, Square Enix has announced via Twitter that they will be streaming a special video presentation that will go live on Monday the 11th of June at 10AM PDT1PM EDT6PM BST. The presentation will be available in Japanese and English and streamed on YouTube, Twitch, mixer, Facebook, and Twitter.

Hopefully we will get to see something about that very secretive Avengers project they announced , especially now that Avengers: Infinity War is out and breaking every box office record possible. They will also, and most likely, show off Shadow of the Tom Raider, and hopefully some new information on the Final Fantasy 7 Remake that they announced in 2015 and still have no news about. Perhaps a new Chrono game now that the game has made it to Steam, regardless of all the negative attention it got at first. We can only keep our fingers crossed and wait for that stream on the 11th of June.
