Kingdom Hearts III hit stores worldwide on January 29, 2019, thirteen years after green-lighting the title and four and a half years after the jRPG video game's official announcement at Sony's E3 2015 media briefing. While we had to wait for that particular project for quite some time, the majority of critics and players have seemingly agreed that Square Enix's latest release is something truly special.
According to review aggregator Metacritic,
KH3 currently is the fourth best-reviewed PlayStation 4 game of the year (its Xbox One version features noticeable technical issues, so it comes as no surprise that it's getting worse reviews sitting at a 80% score on the website), with an average 84% rating.
To celebrate that outstanding achievement, Square has released an all-new trailer for their best-selling game, putting the spotlight on all of the near-perfect scores the critically acclaimed jRPG game has been getting since launch. As revealed by Enix, over five million copies of the game have been shipped worldwide since January, and that already impressive result will surely get much bigger in the future.
