Since its first trailer, in 2019, the upcoming Marvel's Avengers game has been met with both criticism and excitement. The upcoming game from Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics allows players to take control of some of their favorite avengers while they join others to take on the likes of AIM in various story and online maps.
With fully customizable characters, this is the first Marvel game that leaves a lot of what it has to offer, up to the player. Whether they want to smash and kick their way through a mission as Hulk and Black Widow or fly and shock enemies as Thor or Iron Man, anything is possible!
Starting today, the game's official BETA will be kicking off and offers a lot of opportunities for the player to experience. To begin, players can play through the stage demo seen online, once completing it, players can control Hulk and Kamala Khan in the "To Find Olympia" mission. Next up will be the "Missing Links" mission, where players uncover SHIELD secrets, which will lead to the HARM room challenges, a sort of training room where players can get a feel for the characters. Once those prerequisites are completed, players will have access to the War Table, where they can customize characters and either use AI or join friends to play a selection of online missions.
With the release less than a month away, we are in the endgame now. Make sure to share your thoughts on the marvelous news in the comments, and don't forget to check out the BETA and deep dive videos!
