In April of last year, after rumours about a brand-new entry in the Persona series being developed had been doing the rounds, developer Atlus announced Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers. There was only one problem, however; they only confirmed the game to release in Japan.
The Persona series is quite popular here in the West, so it was definitely some disappointing news to find out that Atlus and Koei Tecmo hadn't considered Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers for a Western release; that is, until now.
As revealed by Koei Tecmo in their Fiscal Year 2019 report, the developer has mentioned that they have plans to localise Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers, as well as downloadable content for the relatively recently released Nioh 2; definitely some great news for players out there.
Unfortunately, the developer's financial report doesn't reveal any potential dates for the release of the localisedversion of Persona 5 Scramble; The Phantom Strikers, but the fact that they have even mentioned it in their report means that they are probably working on it right now; fans will have to keep playing the waiting game for a little bit longer, though.
