Spike Chunsoft's Re: ZERO -Starting Life In Another World-: The Prophecy of the Throne is a game based on the Re: ZERO franchise. The story begins back in 2016, with a light novel series that later inspired multiple anime and OVAs.
The game itself is based on the anime of the same name. The main focus of this game is on the Royal Selection storyline of the show's first season. The story of the game revolves around the selection of new rulers for a kingdom. The prophecy states there will be five contenders, yet there are six. With a mystery steeped in betrayal and assassination, young Subaru decides to take the mystery head-on.
The new title takes some "what-if" liberties with the original story. The fun part about the changes is that the game's new feature will be supervised by story writer Tappei Nagatsuki. Illustrator Shinichrou Otsuka is also apart of the story by designing new characters!
In recent news, Re: ZERO -Starting Life In Another World-: The Prophecy of the Throne has decided to make its way to the west! The day one edition of the game is set to include a ton of unique items, including pins of the characters, a steel book game case, an art book, and a collector's edition outer box!
The installment is set to release this year and will be available on multiple platforms. With the new game releasing on two continents, we would love to hear your thoughts on Re: ZERO -Starting Life In Another World-: The Prophecy of the Throne before its release later this year!
