It's already known that Man of Steel and Mission: Impossible - Fallout star Henry Cavill is a pretty big fan of video games, as he once admitted he loved World of Warcraft, but it was unclear if he would ever like to act in a movie or TV show based on a video game. That is, until now.
In response to a question posed by the folks at IGN, Cavill revealed that he loves the The Witcher 3, which he "just replayed all the way through." Then, with this answer in mind, the actor was asked if he would like to play Geralt in Netflix's The Witcher series, and his answer will likely get many fans excited.
"Absolutely. Yeah, that would be an amazing role. The books are amazing. The books are really, really good...The books I started reading, and they are well worth a read."
While it doesn't sound like the actor is seriously campaigning for the role - and this is mostly just wishful thinking - Netflix's live-action adaptation still hasn't made any casting announcements so it's not outside the realm of possibility.
