CD Projekt RED has really managed to make something special porting their critically acclaimed The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt to the Nintendo Switch, especially when considering how underpowered Nintendo's handheld hybrid is when compared to the consoles the game previously released on.

This week, fans of The Witcher series have been able to see The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt - Complete Edition running on the Nintendo Switch, and the reception has been pretty good — as the game looks a lot better than people thought it would look.

Today, CD Projekt RED has shared a small batch of in-game screenshots for The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt - Complete Edition for the Nintendo Switch; further proving that the game looks fantastic when running on Nintendo's versatile hardware.

Take a look:

Winner of over 250 Game of the Year awards, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a story-driven, open world adventure set in a dark fantasy universe. The Complete Edition contains every piece of downloadable content released for the game, including two massive story expansions: Hearts of Stone & Blood and Wine.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition will be available for the Nintendo Switch on the 15th of October.
