THE WITCHER III: WILD HUNT Geralt of Rivia & Ciri Join DAEMON X MACHINA As Free Cosmetic DLC
Marvelous Inc. has announced some exciting, free DLC for their Daemon X Machina game which introduces Geralt and Ciri from The Witcher III: Wild Hunt as playable characters.
Daemon X Machina is a third-person shooter action game developed by Marvelous Inc. exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. Recently, some official and free post-launch content has been announced and ties in with The Witcher III: Wild Hunt.
The acclaimed title became available for the Nintendo Switch in October — just a month after the release of Daemon X Machina. The pair of lead characters from The Witcher III: Wild Hunt, those being Geralt of Rivia and Ciri, have now become a part of Daemon X Machina as cosmetic skins.
"The set can be downloaded for free from Nintendo Switch eShop and contains outfits, body types, hairstyles and more allowing you to customize your mech pilot to look like Ciri and Geralt!" reads the official announcement tweet — which you can check out below along with a trailer which shows off the outfits in action.
While it's nothing especially major and they're just costumes for your mech pilot character, it's still a nifty addition to Daemon X Machina — and it will be exciting to see what other cosmetic skins will be added in the future.
When the moon tore apart, the sky bled red with light, ushering in an apocalyptic new age…and to survive, you must fight. As a mercenary, defend Earth through high-speed combat against corrupted robots in a series of missions from the cockpit of your Arsenal, a fully customizable mech. Equip your Arsenal with a vast array of parts and weapons, obtain more from downed enemy Arsenals, and swap them on the fly to suit your strategy in the face of ever-rising threats.
Daemon X Machina is exclusively available for the Nintendo Switch.
