While many players may have had the chance to play the Seiken Densetsu series via emulators — considering that it ws the only way that some of these titles could be played here in the West — many others have been eagerly wanting for Square Enix to bring the series here, which is why
Trials of Mana finally becoming available is such a big deal.
Trials of Mana is a remake of the original Super Famicom game of the same name, which came out in Japan back in the mid 90s, and is finally making its way to the west; becoming available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam on the
24th of April.
Because this is technically a new game for Western audiences, Square Enix has been releasing some character trailers that introduce us to the protagonists of
Trials of Mana, and today we got a brand-new trailer that is introducing us to Charlotte and Kevin.
Take a look:
In a world on the brink of war, the power of mana suddenly starts to weaken… Step into the shoes of 6 unique heroes and rescue the world from the encroaching darkness in Trials of Mana, a full HD remake of the third entry in the seminal Mana series (Seiken Densetsu 3 in Japan), never before released in the West.
Trials of Mana will release for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam on the 24th of April in 2020.
