Trials of Mana, Square Enix's remake of Seiken Densetsu 3, has finally become available today for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC(Steam) — giving Western players the chance to experience this timeless classic for the first time ever.
The original Seiken Densetsu 3 was never officially localised outside of Japan — well, we aren't counting the Trials of Mana included in last year's Collection of Mana for the Nintendo Switch — which is why it is such a big deal to finally see the game being introduced to a new generation of players.
Since the new game is a remake, the developers have built it from the ground up, and given Trials of Mana a graphics makeover and rearranged soundtrack that makes this all-time classic a proper current-gen title; keeping all of its nostalgic value intact, but also taking some gameplay liberties in order to enhance the player's experience.
Now that the game has officialy released worldwide, Square Enix has shared a brand-new gameplay trailer that gives players an idea of what to expect from this beautifully realised remake of Seiken Densetsu 3, so be sure to check it out down below, and leave us a comment!
