We live in the age of endless console wars, so it's hardy surprising that the announcement of the Epic Games Store and its practices have sparked countless (and pretty heated) discussions among gamers.
The fact that some studios (namely Ubisoft, Deep Silver, and 2K) have decided to jump on the EGS exclusivity bandwagon (sometimes revealing the drastic change mere hours before their games’ planned debuts on Steam or GOG), made the situation more complicated. According to a vocal group of players, Epic Games is making it worse every day, as the shop is still lacking some basic features.
Thankfully, Paradox Entertainment has announced that you will be able to buy
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2's PC version on "
the Paradox store, Steam, GOG, Epic [Games Store]," while console players will have a chance to choose between the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One editions, all coming on the same day at some point in the first quarter of 2020, i.e. between January and March.
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is being developed at Hardsuit Labs, the young studio behind
Blacklight: Retribution. Given that Paradox is following in
Cyberpunk 2077's footsteps when it comes to the rejection of being exclusive to any platform, let's hope that the sequel to one of the most praised role-playing games of all time will also match CD Projekt Red's genius in designing their big game.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 will be shipping on PS4, Xbox One and PC in Q1 2020.
