The Quiet Man is definitely one of Square Enix's most interesting games in years. So far, we have had almost no news regarding this project and the developer has barely shared any gameplay, or details about the story.

Every now and then we get the occasional cryptic video explaining the game's combat, or an even more cryptic letter by one of the game's producer—which doesn't really reveal any details about The Quiet Man—giving the impression that even the project itself is a quiet one.

Today, we got a brand new, and intriguing, trailer for Square Enix's The Quiet Man and while it doesn't answer too many questions, it does give us a rough idea of what the game's plot could end up being—as well as showing us some very short images that seem to dive into the main character's past, which looks quite interesting.

A new combat gameplay video was also shared today and it looks very rough around the edges. Backgrounds and textures look fine, but animations and character models need a lot of work. We still don't know when The Quiet Man will release but Square Enix better take their time since this looks extremely unfinished.

Take a look:

THE QUIET MAN™ delivers an immersive story driven cinematic action experience seamlessly blending high-production live action, realistic CG and pulse-pounding action gameplay. Embark on an adrenaline-fueled motion picture like experience which can be completed in one sitting.

The Quiet Man has no release date yet but will be available digitally for the PlayStation 4 and Steam.
