The video game developer EA has finally found its video game sweet spot with the Star Wars franchise following the release of the smash-hit Jedi: Fallen Order. Since then, another new game has been released that brings the starfighter battles of the franchise back to the forefront with Star Wars: Squadrons.
Squadrons brings to life the era of Star Wars that follows the moments between episodes VI and VII, putting players in the pilot's seat of the heroes and villains of the New Republic and the remnants of the Empire. With VR compatibility and a first-person view of the cockpit, the fights seem as real as they can be and make a great case for why space is the place!
A new DLC is coming that is totally free, ahead of the release of The Mandalorian season 2 that features a ton of goodies like a figure of The Child that can be placed in the cockpit. Even more decals and holograms can be added to accompany the various types of dashboard flair that include a beskar ingot and the Razor Crest!
These additions are sure to personalize the pilot space and add an extra level of immersion for the player. We would love to hear your thoughts on the new DLC in the comments section below!
Star Wars: Squadrons is a space combat game, played from a first-person perspective. Players take control of starfighters from either the Galactic Empire and the New Republic navy. ... As players earn more experience, they can unlock new weapons, shields, upgrades and various cosmetic items for the pilot and their ship.
The new DLC will be available for Star Wars: Squadrons on October 28th!
