It's that time of year again when Electronic Arts reveals their new EA Sports soccer game, only this time it's called EA Sports FC 24 instead of FIFA due to licensing complications with the international soccer association.
Regardless, EA Sports FC 24 will be coming out on September 29th for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Manchester City player Erling Haaland is the cover star this time around.
It's said that the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Women’s Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Europa Conference League, and UEFA Super Cup will all be included in EA Sports FC 24 as well as a couple of new women's football leagues: the Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga and Liga F. Additionally, EA has confirmed a franchise first in that Ultimate Team will include women from now on. Similarly, Pro Clubs will have cross-play functionality for the first time.
"Discover the most true-to-football experience ever with HyperMotionV, PlayStyles optimised by Opta, and a revolutionised Frostbite Engine reinventing how 19,000+ authentic players move, play and look in every match."
Pre-ordering EA Sports FC 24 before August 22nd entitles you to an untradable UEFA Champions League or UEFA Women’s Champions League Ultimate Team Hero Item which you'd receive on November 27th. You can get in on the game's early access period by purchasing the Ultimate Edition of EA Sports FC 24 which kicks off on September 22nd.
