It had been a while since we've heard any news about Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions. Sure, Bandai Namco has ketp the game's Twitter account fairly active, but they hadn't really revealed any substantial news that were worth covering; mostly football team reveals that were expected to be part of the game.
Today Bandai Namco has finally given players an official release date for the upcoing football arcade title, and fans of the Captain Tsubasa series should expect to play the game in just a couple more months — as Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions will launch for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on the 28th of August.
The developer was not done delivering the news, since they have also revealed phenomenal Legends, Champions, and Collector's editions for Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions — which will be including a bunch of collectibles that will make fans of the series even more excited for the release.
While all of these special editions are worth your money, it is definitely the Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions Legends Edition that takes the cake; featuring a fully customised Captain Tsubasa football table by René Pierre Billard & Baby Foot.
Bandai Namco has also announced that pre-orders for the game, and all of its respective special editions, are currently available via Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions's official website. At the time of writing, however, the links are still not available.
