The Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series had been missing in action for quite a while, which is one of the many reasons why fans got so excited after Activision and Vicarious Visions officially announced that a remaster of the first two games was currently in the works.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 is, much like its name very appropriately suggests, a remaster of the critically acclaimed Tony Hawks' Pro Skater and Tony Hawks' Pro Skater 2, and this new title will not only be featuring enhanced graphics, but also both games' original soundtracks; each often consdiered to be one of, if not, the best video game soundtracks ever put together.
Activision and Vicarious Visions have even confirmed that all of the skaters in the games' original resoters will be mking a comeback, and that a brand-new soundtrack will also be introduced in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 to give fans of the old games a little bit something extra to look forward to.
The developers have also confirmed that a playable demo of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 will become available on Friday the 14th of August — yes, in just a few more days — for those who have already pre-ordered their digital copy of the game, which will give players access to the classic Warehouse level.
Speaking of which, Activision has just released three new clips for the remastered versions of the classic Warehouse, Hangar, and School levels in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 , so be sure to check them out down below, and don't forget to play Goldfinger's Superman in the background for the ultimate Tony Hawk's Pro Skater experience; that is, until the game finally releases on Friday the 4th September.
