As previously hinted, Activision has officially announced the return of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4. The beloved skateboarding titles have been remade from the ground up for modern consoles and will be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC (through Steam, Battle.net and Microsoft Store), and Nintendo Switch on July 11th. As an Activision title, the game will also be available at launch for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers.
"Get hyped for the legendary franchise to return with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4," Activision announced. "Everything you loved is back, but revamped with more skaters, new parks, gnarlier tricks, eardrum shattering music, plus a whole lot more."
In addition to all of this classic and new content, there will also be support for cross-platform online gameplay for up to eight skaters.
Choose from a legendary pro skater roster that includes Tony Hawk, Bucky Lasek, Steve Caballero, Kareem Campbell, Geoff Rowley, Andrew Reynolds, Elissa Steamer, Chad Muska, Eric Koston, Rodney Mullen, Jamie Thomas, Rune Glifberg, and Bob Burnquist, or opt for the new skaters, including Rayssa Leal, Chloe Covell, Jamie Foy, Zion Wright, and Yuto Horigome. And, in true Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater fashion, there will be secrets to unlock.
The iconic soundtrack returns with fan-favorite songs from the original games, including “Ace of Spades” by Motorhead, “Amoeba” by Adolescents, “Mass Appeal” by Gang Starr, “96 Quite Bitter Beings ” by CKY, “Not the Same” by Bodyjar, and KRS-One’s “Outta Here,” alongside new tracks that capture the spirit of modern skate culture.
Following the game's official announcement, Activision also shared a first look at one of the new skate parks, Waterpark. This summer-themed level takes us to the Mojave Desert where an abandoned water park has now become a skater's dream. From rusted slides and a drained-out lazy river to a deserted playground and more, the new park features plenty of points of interest worth exploring and grinding. Waterpark is one of multiple new skate parks fans can look forward to with the launch of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is developed by Iron Galaxy Studios, the same studio that worked on the PC version of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2.
The game is already available for pre-orders with a Cross-Gen Standard Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition detailed.
