One of the most highly anticipated movies of the winter (outside of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) is Assassin's Creed. Everything we've seen from the big sceen adaptation of the hit video game franchise looks excellent, and in a new interview with USA Today, star Michael Fassbender weighed in on the two very different roles he'll be playing in the upcoming movie.

Asked about Aguilar, he said: "He doesn’t say a lot and is defined by his actions. He has a cause that he belongs to and he’s willing to sacrifice himself." Cal (his present day ancestor) on the other hand is very different. "His journey is going to be about really finding out that he does belong to something greater." Director Justin Kurzel added: "There aren’t that many actors who have that emotional range dramatically and at the same time are able to pull off some of these complicated moves."

Assassin’s Creed stars Michael Fassbender, Marion Cotillard, Michael Kenneth Williams, and Ariane Labed, and is currently set to be released on December 21st, 2016. Are you guys excited to see it?
