UNCHARTED May Have Added BREAKING BAD Star Bryan Cranston In A Key Role
According to a new report, Breaking Bad and Power Rangers star Bryan Cranston may have been added to the cast of the Uncharted movie but could he be the Sully to Tom Holland's young Nathan Drake?
Bryan Cranston still hasn't joined the cast of a Marvel or DC Comics movie but it sounds like he could be about to enter the world of video game adaptations with Shawn Levy's Uncharted. That's set to focus on Nathan Drake as a youngster (hence why Tom Holland has been cast as the heroic explorer) and That Hashtag Show is reporting that Cranston is up for what they say is a "large supporting role."
Who is he playing? They don't offer any specifics but speculate that he could be up for the role of Sully or Uncharted's mysterious villain. While there's no denying that Cranston would be perfect for the former, he may be a little old for this particular iteration of Nate's mentor and father figure and Holland has previously thrown around names like Chris Pratt and Jake Gyllenhaal as potential candidates.
We'll have to wait and see but landing Cranston would be a big win for the movie and should go some way in helping to cool down fans of the critically acclaimed video game series who aren't overly excited with this take on the property.
