The live-action movie based on the Uncharted video game series is set to arrive in theatres in July 2021. However, the film has been subject to many delays, so whether we should expect this release date to stick is essentially up in the air.

Nevertheless, the Uncharted movie stars Tom Holland (Spider-Man: Far From Home) as PlayStation's iconic treasure hunter Nathan Drake and Mark Wahlberg as Drake's mentor Victor "Sully" Sullivan. The cast also includes Antonio Banderas, Sophia Taylor Ali, and Tati Gabrielle.

It was believed that the movie would serves as an origin story of sorts for the treasure hunter, with Holland playing a younger version of Nathan Drake. However, this exciting, new photo suggests that Holland will be playing Nathan Drake outright.

Following Naughty Dog themselves sharing an image of Tom Holland and Nolan North together, which you can check out here; the former actor took to social media to reveal our first look at him dressed up in Nathan Drake's iconic attire: a henley shirt and gun holster. It's a pretty faithful adaptation of Nathan Drake's look.
